Why "Random Walker"?
It's a bit of a strange name for a Biology site. The name comes from two things. The first is the idea of walking, usually without much of a plan. The second is a random walk, a path made up of random steps. I'm not a mathematician at all, but I was told that random walks turn up all over biology. For example, molecules move this way in diffusion, and allele frequencies change this way in genetic drift.
